​Alex Beighton is a London-based comedian, filmmaker, and writer.

Alex graduated from The National BFI Film Academy Craft Residential delivered by the NFTS and The University of Westminster with a First Class BA Hons in Film & Television Production. Alex also took part in the Soho Theatre Comedy Labs where she began her career in stand up which she does regularly around the UK. Published in Coroney Baloney and t’ART online, Alex’s comedy was once described as ‘gay and gross’ which is a brand she has been cultivating ever since. Alex also works part-time at Switchboard LGBT+ Helpline and watches more Horror films than anyone she knows.
