Lauren Estrada

Lauren Estrada (she/her) is a writer, actress, and stage director based in Los Angeles. She finds ethical intimacy staging practices central to her work and is inspired by the intersections of abstract music and movement from her experience as an actor. Lauren received four Irene Ryan Nominations from the Kennedy Center for her work as an undergraduate actor in several stage productions and was a Region 8 Finalist in the Kennedy Center American College Theatre Festival's 2019 Student Directors Competition.

She attended the Kennedy Center Directing Intensive in Washington, DC later that same year. Lauren graduated Summa Cum Laude from Whittier College, with BA in English and Theatre (Performance Emphasis). As a combination theatre nerd/Star Wars fan/Anime enthusiast who is very interested in the intersection of popular culture and identity, she is thrilled to be working in CNT’s “You Don’t Even Cosplay” writer’s room.​
