Daryl Paris Bright (She/Her) is a writer, producer, performing artist & facilitator. Yes, she actually does wear multiple hats (or hairstyles) depending on the vibes. Hailing from the DC Metropolitan Area has helped contribute to her love of cultural storytelling mixed with a dash of sauciness.  She has helped write,

produce, and star in CNT's sketch comedy series NOT YOUR TYPE  as well as OPEN , which has been featured in AFROPUNK, DEADLINE, and Gloria Steinem’s Ms. Magazine. In 2019, two episodes of OPEN were official selections at the prestigious NFFTY, where CHAPTER 3: BLACK GIRL POEM won an Audience Award. She also helped write, produce, and star in NOT YOUR TYPE’S DM, which was an official selection at 2020’s OUTFEST. Most recently,  she co-hosted CNT’s live interactive show, “The Sex Scene.” Apart from CNT, Daryl is the associate producer for CAMPUS, an e-commerce livestreaming app for GEN-Zers to learn, laugh, ask questions, and discuss topics they care about, while getting involved in real-time. Much of her work is rooted in encouraging self-love, acknowledging self-hate, and finding connection in the paradox of it all. Her contributions have been recognized by HBO’s Inspiration Room, the American Black Film Festival, Sundance’s Horizon Awards, and AT&T Film Awards for New Forms of Storytelling. Along with being a YoungArts and UCB Diversity scholar, Daryl is a graduate of Duke Ellington School of the Arts and Carnegie Mellon University’s School of Drama. She is currently based in Brooklyn, where she aims to continue creating content that “fucks you up”.
